1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

C9 processes personal information for the following purposes and will not use it for any purpose other than those listed below.

• Membership registration, identity verification, and account management
• Payment for paid services, subscription management, and customer support
• Provision of notifications such as announcements, service changes, and security alerts
• Service quality improvement, statistical analysis, and error response
• Compliance with legal obligations for data retention

2. Personal Information Items Collected

The Company may collect the following personal information during the course of service use.

• Required Items: Email address, password, name (or nickname), payment information (card/PG identification values), service usage records
• Optional Items: Profile image, contact information, social media accounts (when linked)
• Automatically Collected Items: IP address, cookies, access logs, browser information, time of use, device information

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

• Information is destroyed immediately upon membership withdrawal.
• However, if preservation is required by applicable laws, it will be stored as follows:
  • E-commerce Act: Records on contracts, payments, and withdrawal of subscriptions (5 years)
  • Electronic Financial Transactions Act: Records on transactions (5 years)
  • Protection of Communications Secrets Act: Records on login (3 months)

4. Third-Party Provision and Entrustment

In principle, the Company does not provide user's personal information to third parties. However, the following entrustment may occur for the operation of the service.

• Payment Processing: Credit card companies / Payment Gateways
• Data Analysis and Log Collection: Google Analytics, Cloudflare, etc.

In accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company manages and supervises the trustee to ensure that personal information is handled safely during the term of the entrustment contract.

5. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

• Users may request to view, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information at any time.
• Upon membership withdrawal, accounts and related data are deleted immediately (excluding legal retention).
• Requests can be made via email at (c9indicator@gmail.com).

6. Security Measures for Ensuring Information Safety

• Passwords and sensitive information are stored in an encrypted format.
• Access rights to personal information are minimized, and internal management guidelines are strictly followed.
• Security updates and log monitoring are performed on a regular basis.
• Firewalls and access control systems are operated to prevent unauthorized external intrusion.

7. Use of Cookies

The Company may use cookies to provide customized services. Users can refuse or delete cookie storage through their browser settings.

8. Matters Concerning International Data Transfer

Some data may be stored or processed on cloud servers (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare, Google Cloud). In such cases, the transfer is limited to countries that have secured adequacy assessments or protection measures in accordance with Article 39-12 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

The Company may change this policy due to amendments in laws or service changes. In the event of significant changes, a notice will be provided through the website or via email at least 7 days in advance.
